The HPE Aruba 2530-8G J9780A Managed Network Switch is designed for Business access networks that need compact PoE+ connectivity, flexible uplinks and Professional management. This Aruba Network Switch supports small offices, branch sites, edge deployments and connected workplace devices where Security, reliability and simple administration are important.
Port configuration includes 8 RJ-45 autosensing 10/100 PoE+ ports, supporting IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, IEEE 802.3u 100BASE-TX and IEEE 802.3at PoE+. With 67W PoE power, the HPE Aruba switch can power compatible devices such as IP phones, wireless access points and cameras through the same network connection.
Uplink flexibility is provided by 2 dual-personality ports, with each port usable as either an RJ-45 10/100/1000 port or an SFP slot for SFP transceivers. This gives the Aruba Network Switch practical options for copper or fibre uplinks, helping Business networks extend connectivity beyond the local access layer.
Deployment features include Auto-MDIX media type and half or full duplex operation, helping simplify connections across varied cabling environments. Local access is supported by 1 dual-personality RJ-45 or USB Micro-B serial console port, giving Professional administrators flexible out-of-band setup and maintenance options.
Processing and memory are handled by an ARM9E processor at 800 MHz, 128MB flash, a 1.5MB dynamically allocated packet buffer and 256MB DDR3 DIMM. These specifications support managed access switching for compact HPE Aruba deployments where stable Business connectivity and consistent traffic handling are required.
Management options include IMC, CLI, web browser interface, configuration menu and out-of-band management through Serial RS-232C or Micro-USB. Monitoring support includes IEEE 802.3 Ethernet MIB, Repeater MIB and Ethernet interface MIB, helping this Professional Network Switch support visibility, control and Security across Business environments.
