The HPE Aruba 2530-8G J9774A Managed Network Switch is designed for Business networks that need compact access switching, PoE+ support and reliable Layer 2 management. This Aruba Network Switch suits Professional edge, branch office and SMB deployments where Security, ease of use and stable wired connectivity are important.
Port configuration includes 8 RJ-45 autosensing 10/100/1000 PoE+ ports, supporting 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T and IEEE 802.3at PoE+. It also includes 2 dual-personality ports, allowing each port to operate as either RJ-45 10/100/1000 or an SFP slot for flexible uplink options.
Additional access and service ports include 1 dual-personality RJ-45 or USB Micro-B serial console port, giving administrators practical local management options. The switch uses Auto-MDIX, supports half or full duplex on 10/100 ports and full duplex on 1000BASE-T, helping simplify deployment across Business cabling environments.
Processing and memory are handled by an ARM9E processor at 800 MHz, 128MB flash, a 1.5MB dynamically allocated packet buffer and 256MB DDR3 DIMM. This compact HPE Aruba platform provides managed access performance for small Professional networks, office devices, access points and endpoint connectivity.
Management features include Web GUI, command-line interface CLI, SNMP, console access and micro USB support. The Aruba 2530 Series also works with HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass Policy Manager, HPE Aruba Networking AirWave and HPE Aruba Networking Central, helping support unified wired and wireless Security management.
Layer 2 capabilities include enhanced access security, traffic prioritisation, sFlow, IPv6 host support and Energy Efficient Ethernet. With flexible authentication methods including Local MAC, 802.1X, MAC authentication and Web authentication, this HPE Aruba Network Switch supports Professional Business access control.
