<p>The Shure MXA920W-S Square Ceiling Array Microphone is designed for professional meeting rooms, conference spaces and collaboration environments where clear, consistent voice capture is essential. Its ceiling-mounted design keeps tables free from microphones and cabling while providing discreet, wide-area audio coverage.</p> <p>The MXA920W-S supports <b>automatic or steerable coverage</b>, allowing the microphone to capture participants across defined areas of a room without the need for multiple tabletop microphones. It can operate with automatic coverage enabled or provide up to <b>8 independent transmit channels</b> when automatic coverage is disabled, giving system integrators greater control over complex room configurations.</p> <p>Professional network audio is supported through <b>Dante and AES67 digital output</b>, with <b>24-bit / 48kHz audio</b> for integration into compatible conferencing and AV systems. Built-in IntelliMix digital signal processing includes <b>automatic mixing, acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, automatic gain control, compression, delay and parametric EQ</b>, helping deliver intelligible speech during meetings and calls.</p> <p>The microphone connects through a standard <b>RJ45 network interface</b> using Cat5e or higher cabling and is powered using <b>Power over Ethernet, PoE Class 0</b>. This simplifies installation by carrying network connectivity and power through a single cable.</p> <p>Designed for professional ceiling installation, the square MXA920-S carries a <b>UL2043 plenum rating</b> for suitable air-handling spaces and offers IP5X dust protection. Its low-profile white finish makes it suitable for modern boardrooms, conference rooms, training spaces and professional unified communications installations.</p>
