The Dell Precision 5490 is a compact Premium mobile Workstation designed for Professional users who need strong performance in a refined 14 inch Laptop format. This Dell Notebook combines Intel Core Ultra processing, fast memory, secure access features and Windows 11 Pro for Business Computer workflows across office, studio and mobile PC use.
The 14 inch FHD+ display delivers 1920 x 1200 resolution with IPS technology, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 500 nits brightness, 100% sRGB colour coverage and an anti-glare finish. This helps the Precision Laptop provide clear viewing for documents, dashboards, design reviews and Professional multitasking.
Performance is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7-165H processor with 16 cores and 22 threads, running at 1.4 GHz battery power saving mode and up to 5.0 GHz maximum performance mode. Intel Arc Graphics support visual workloads, making this Workstation suitable for everyday graphics, presentations and Business applications.
Storage and memory are configured for responsive working with 1TB PCIe Gen 4.0x4 NVMe storage and 32GB DDR5 memory. The Dell Precision Notebook also includes SD Card Reader and Fingerprint Reader, helping support secure sign-in, media transfer and Professional data handling.
Connectivity and collaboration features include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a UK English backlit Keyboard, dual digital-array microphones and a stereo quad-speaker design with 2 x 2W tweeters and 2 x 2W woofers. These features help the Premium PC support meetings, calls and daily communication.
The Dell Precision 5490 is built with a CNC Aluminium Chassis with Carbon Fibre Palm Rest and MIL-STD tested durability. With support for up to 4 external displays and Windows 11 Pro, this Professional Computer adapts from mobile Laptop use to a wider Business Workstation desk setup.

Delivery and returns without uncertainty
